What makes Steward Family Medicine unique?

  1. You will always see Dr. Steward during your office visit, not a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
  2. Online appointment scheduling allows you to make your own appointments when convenient for YOU. You will receive e-mail reminders before your appointments.
  3. You will always be able to get same day or next day for urgent care (sore throats, minor injuries, etc.).
  4. The office opens at 7am, so you can make an appointment without missing work.
  5. Electronic medical records, electronic billing, electronic lab results, and other technology allows the practice to operate with greater efficiency - this means Dr. Steward spends more time with you than the average physician during your visit since he does not have the overhead of multiple employees. Most visits will be allotted 30 minutes with the doctor rather than the usual 10 or 15 minutes elsewhere. We are the ONLY office in Alaska to offer this state-of-the-art service.
